Lost is an American television drama, and originally aired on the channel ABC. The show hosted six seasons from 2004 and ended in 2010, and has a whole 121 episodes. Lost may seem like a survival drama from the outside, but it embodies the elements of science fiction and the supernatural. Although the show does begin with the crash landing of an airplane on a tropical island, the characters quickly come to realize that they’ve landed on a very strange island, indeed. Lost was also one of the most expensive shows ever to film; its FIRST episode alone cost over 14 million dollars to create. Throughout the six years of Lost‘s airing, and even after the finale, the show has consistently ranked as one of the greatest television dramas of all time. We’re geeks for Lost here at The Geek Gift Guide, and so we found some stuff that we think might make you geek out!

This article contains AFFILIATE LINKS. Sounds scary, but it really just means that I get some kick-back change when you buy a product in my article (with NO ADDED COST to you). The internet is a magical place, amirite?

1. A Hoodie with the Lost numbers: 4 8 16 23 42

So, for those of you who haven’t seen the show, there were a set of numbers that would pop up throughout Lost: 4 8 16 23 and 42. I don’t want to get too spoilery here, but those numbers are REALLY important! In an interview, David Fury (a writer for Season One, and co-executive producer thereafter), talked about how the numbers came to be: “When I started writing the episode Numbers, I already figured out to use numbers that had been heard on the show… 4 (number of years Locke was in a wheelchair), 8, 15, etc.” During the same interview, Fury in fact CONFIRMED that 42 was a tip of the hat to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. All the reasons listed above, and so, SO many more makes us believe that this is the BEST gift for any of your geeky associates (or for yourself) to geek out about. Get it HERE!

2. A DHARMA Clock

Lost had a lot of sub plots going on; DHARMA is an acronym for The Department of Heuristics and Research on Material Applications. The DHARMA Initiative was actually a weird science lab / experiment that called the island home in the 70’s and 90’s. The group’s funding was cut off in 87, and shortly after that most all the members of the group were brutally slain by… something… on the island. The DHARMA Initiative’s quest was to break some sciencey laws to delay or stop the end of humanity, but I think it’s safe to say they didn’t quite get there. We totally geeked out over this clock and we think you will too!Get it HERE!

3. The Lost Encyclopedia

This book includes more than 400 pages and 1500 images, and details each character, items seen on the show, locations within the show, plotlines, relationships, and even a few mythologies! The Lost Encyclopedia contains content from all six seasons and was created in collaboration with ABC Studios and producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. This is also the ONLY book that was created with ABC Studios, which makes it one of a kind!Get it HERE!

4. A Hurley from Lost Pop! Figure

We love Pop! characters! Hurley is one of the main characters on the show, and he comes with an interesting backstory. Just a light over view: Hurley developed an eating disorder early in life and landed himself in an insane asylum where he began to see an imaginary person. He later won the lottery and believed himself to be cursed, and so jumped on an airplane to seek a way to break the curse. Come to think of it, he might be cursed! This is a vinyl Pop! figure from Funko, and stands 3 3/4 inches tall. Get it HERE!

5. LOST – The Game

This game is a mind-twisting combination of strategy and trivia! The point of the game is to survive the island in the role of your favorite character from the show, and gain control of the island to become the leader. The game also encourages players to work together to survive and gain influence. 75 hexagonal tiles makes up the board, and they are to be laid face down at the beginning of the game. As the game progresses and players move around the board, they flip the tile they move to over to be revealed, and then follow the instructions on the tile. Fun for everyone ages 13 and older! 6. I’d Rather be LOST with Sawyer Coffee Mug

The perfect gift for that morning coffee or afternoon tea drinker! This white ceramic coffee mug displays the words ‘I’d rather be LOST with Sawyer’ in an ALL CAPS, sponge painted font and black ink. Put simply, this coffee mug lets people know that you were not ready to start your day and that you would much rather be lost at sea with a hollywood actor pretending to be someone else. What more could one want out of a coffee cup?Get it HERE!

7. A Model DHARMA Van

The DHARMA Initiative used these Volkswagon Model 2 Buses to navigate the island, and several are left on the island and found by the characters within the show. The Volkswagon buses were also involved with the plot of some characters on the island earlier than our plane wreck survivors. The buses appear several times through out the show, and are a golden little Easter Egg in their own right! We know you or your associates will geek out over this one! Get it HERE!

8. Lost: The Complete Collection
